Description of the simulated development (pro forma)

Lysa is a new player in asset management market and therefore lack historical return data for its portfolios before January 1, 2017. As such, it can be difficult to get an idea of how the portfolios would perform in different market climates.

We have constructed a model in order to some extent remedy this. We have from this calculate so-called "pro forma" returns for different time periods and Lysa portfolios.

The calculation is based on the fact that we create three fictitious portfolios that closely reflect the composition and development of the funds Lysa Aktier, Lysa Sverige Aktier and Lysa Räntor would have had if the funds had already started on December 31, 1998, These fictitious portfolios are constructed by weighing together a number of different equity and fixed income indices in a way that is aligned with how the funds invest in reality (see below).

Pro forma returns for the equity and fixed income portfolios can then be weighed together to calculate the pro forma return for any Lysa portfolio. We also assume that rebalancing between equities and fixed income takes place on a monthly basis. In the calculation, we also add all fees that would have charged the customer.

Lysa Aktier pro forma
  • 58 %MSCI World Net Dividend
  • 17 %MSCI Sweden Gross Dividend
  • 12 %MSCI Emerging Markets Net Dividend
  • 10 %MSCI World Small Cap Net Dividend
  • 3 %MSCI Sweden Small Cap Gross Dividend
Lysa Räntor pro forma
  • 70 %Citi World Govt Bond Index Sweden 1-5Y
  • 20 %Citi WorldBIG EUR Hedged EUR
  • 10 %OMRX Real

We have chosen 31 December, 1998 as the starting date as this is the earliest date for which we have access to the historical data of the used indicies.
